VirtueMart Order Prefix

This extension for VirtueMart allows you to add a prefix to your ordernumber. If you have multiple VM stores or an online and a physical store, this feature allows you to easily identify where an order came from. The extensions is highly configurable and can combine a unique ID and the date of purchase.

The prefix can be configured in the 'administration / configuration' part of the VirtueMart administration part where the configuration will be added.
This extension stores the prefix for every order in the database, so even if you change the prefix, the old prefix for existing orders are saved which makes you compliant for taxes or regulations. The prefix is presented in the order details, the admin background and the notification email to the customer.
